Our Story

The Tiramisu Craft Company was founded in 2021 at the University of East London. At the time, Beckton was undergoing extensive refurbishments, leaving students with limited access to quality food options, especially late at night.

Driven by our shared passion for food and hospitality, we decided to take matters into our own hands. Drawing from our experience working in some of London’s finest restaurants, from Mayfair to Westminster, we began hosting tasting sessions in our university kitchen.

Among the many dishes we created, one stood out above the rest: Tiramisu. Its rich, indulgent layers quickly made it a favourite not just during holidays like Christmas and Ramadan, but all year round.

Our unique recipe, crafted without alcohol or gelatine, was designed with inclusivity in mind ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, beliefs, or dietary preferences, could enjoy it.

What started as a small initiative within our university community soon gained momentum. Word spread, and requests came flooding in from students across universities like Queen Mary, Brunel, and Greenwich followed by orders from the wider public. Before we knew it, our shared passion had evolved into something much greater: a brand built on community, creativity, and craftsmanship.
